AAbout the Magazine

"Digital Sports Media" is the name of RESULT Sports monthly publication.
The magazine started with its first issue in February 2011, a basic Facebook and Twitter ranking overview for sports organisations, but developed quickly to become the required reading and constant companion for administrators or decision makers of digital media at sport organisations. The magazine expanded quickly and to supplement the graphic/visuals and rankings we added Expert Talks and Innovative Case Studies. The increasing importance and relevance of social platforms and the constantly increasing significance of RESULT Sports Magazine led to a new more appropriate title and in December 2012, Social Media and Sports Magazine was born.
However RESULT does not stand still. With the technological evolution in social networks and especially the constant growing impact of mobile applications, gadgets and smartphones in recent years, moved "mobile" and "social media" much closer to each other. To meet this evolution and technology requirements, the magazine was renamed into "Digital Sports Media" in May 2013.
But the basic principles remained: actual and relevant content while providing value. Today, the magazine features the latest developments and trends covering platforms and applications in digital sports media. Covering expert talks in every major sport about, including experiences, strategies, implementations and of course the latest tables and rankings. "Digital Sports Media" is today recognised far beyond Germany, with an English edition released on a monthly basis.
With more than 60 editions of “Digital Sports Media” and its predecessors, the magazine has quickly became a valuable fountain of knowledge for the international audience. Today, the magazine has a monthly readership of over 10,000 readers. From the onset in 2011 the magazine has been free-of-charge to the target audience and has been constantly developed completely as an independent label of RESULT Sports.
Tremendous positive feedback and significant support from sport organisations around the world is motivation for us to continue and implement actual, relevant and valuable Digital Sports Media editions in the future as well!
